Step 1: Find a CLP (Cisco Learning Partner) who willing to sponsor you. One cannot become a CCSI (Cisco Certified Instructor on their OWN).
Step 2: Take the course that you want to teach as a trainer (CCNA )
Step 3: Pass the certification exam for the course with Instructor Score Level (Some Say there it is no longer required, but I could not find any documentation saying that )
Step 4: The CLP should enroll CCSI candidate into Learning Partment Manager System (LPMS)
Step5: Prepare for the ICP (Instructor Certification Program) with the training kit of ICND1 and ICND2
a) The training kit can be purchased
a) Basic Membership is 25 USD 4 months (training kits for associate level)
Step 6: Now, the CLP will enroll you in a 2-day Instructor Certification Program (ICP). Cost Approximately (1500 USD), the CLP will work with their ESD (Education Service Distributor) for this.
a) Day 1: Complete a Cisco Configuration Lab
b) Day 2: Conduct a presentation on a module from ICND2 of your choice and one topic as per Instructor's choice
Step 7: Once we pass the ICP we will receive a CCSI welcome email and an Official CCSI Number.
Step 8: Purchase the CCSI IK Membership and accept the CCSI Membership Agreement
Note: This is the information I collected from the Internet. I am in the process of getting CCSI. If there is any change in the steps I will update it along with relevant links.
